5 ...4...3 ...2 ...1 ...Blast Off!

 The children came in to find a box full of strange items.....inside there were welly boots, a metal colander, an owl and a teddy bear - and the story book 'Whatever Next!' by Jill Murphy. We read the story and realised the items from the box were part of the book! We loved seeing Baby Bear shooting off into space in his rocket, so now we've decided to learn all about space for ourselves!           

 We had such fun learning about Space! We learnt about the planets and stars, we went on a space rocket journey to the moon, we watched real astronauts and saw them float around! What would it be like if we didn't have gravity on Earth? We built a huge NASA den, with a control panel......it seems we have some budding cosmonauts!

To finish our project we invited our parents in to see a presentation all about space, and what we had learnt.
