Off We Go!

We came into school one morning to find something new parked in the playground! We found out it was a minibus! We began learning all about different types of transport - what is your favourite way to travel?

We even had a ride in a minibus! We made different stops around the playground, such as the snack cafe and play park. Miss Palmer drove us around to the different stops - we made sure we had tickets!

We had so much fun and learnt many different things about how people (and animals!) can travel! We focused on all types of transport  - road, water and air travel. We researched travel around the world - one child's favourite way of travel was the houseboats in India!

Most children enjoyed the air travel the most, as they made hot air balloons and paper planes. Although making boats and trying to sink them was also a firm favourite! How many stones/milk bottle tops could your boat hold before tipping over? We also made passports, so we could travel around the world.
